Susan Rhoades Neel specializes in environmental history and modern U.S. history. Dr. Neel teaches from the USU Eastern campus in Price. Her courses on environmental history, the history of America in the 1960s, and women and gender in American history are broadcast to all USU campuses. Dr. Neel's current research focuses on the history of Utah's national parks and monuments. She is co-author of Mapping the Four Corners: Narrating the Hayden Survey of 1875 (University of Oklahoma Press, 2016).
