Biography

Susan Shapiro holds a PhD in Classics from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently Associate Professor of Classics and History at Utah State University. She is also editor of the journal, Mediterranean Studies.


Teaching Interests

I teach all levels of Greek and Latin, as well as Latin Pedagogy, Classical Mythology, and Greek Intellectual History.

Research Interests

My research interests include the Greek historian, Herodotus; Greek intellectual history; and the Roman poet Catullus (particularly his political poems).
