USU Special Collections and Archives

Here you will find the special collections materials of Utah State University libraries gathered and preserved not only for the use of students and faculty, but also for scholars and the general public. Since Special Collections and Archives comprises a variety of materials, the libraries have elected a place to secure, monitor and close-stack them. These materials include, though to no limit, manuscripts, photographs, book arts, rare books and serials, art works on paper and the historical records of Utah State University.

National Council on Public History

NCPH has worked to advance the field of public history for more than 25 years. This organization promotes professionalism and encourages public engagement among history practitioners. NCPH is a membership association of large community ranging from historians and archivists to historic interpreters and policy advisors.

National Archives

Only 1-3 percent of all materials and documents created by the United States Federal Government are kept by National Archives forever, due to their legal and historical importance. These records and materials are preserved and available for the public to view or research topics of interest.

State Archives of Utah

The State Archives assists Utah government agencies in managing their records, preserving rare and unique records and providing access of these documents for public use.

College of Natural Resources – Environment and Society

Graduate and undergraduate students will find programs that provide a balance exposure to the social, physical, and biological sciences within an interdisciplinary framework. Students will be able to gain knowledge of the human aspects of ecosystems and a speaking knowledge of the biophysical aspects. They will also experience the use of contemporary tools and techniques of integrating knowledge.

American Studies at USU
