Faculty Bio

Tammy Proctor, who is originally from Kansas City, MO, is Department Head in History. Her past research has examined Boy Scouting and Girl Guiding, females spies, and the civilian experience of the First World War.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Proctor's teaching areas include Modern World, Modern Europe, World War I and II, gender, and Victorian Britain.

Research Interests

Dr. Proctor's research areas are the social and cultural history of World War I, youth, and gender in transnational perspective.
