Colleen O’Neill is an Associate Professor of History.  She served as the Associate Editor of the Western Historical Quarterly from 2004 to 2008 and Coeditor from 2009 to 2015.  She is the author of Working the Navajo Way: Labor and Culture in the 20th Century and Coeditor (with Brian Hosmer) of Native Pathways: American Indian Culture and Economic Development in the Twentieth Century.  She’s published several articles and book chapters on Native American gender and work and is currently finishing her next book, Labor and Sovereignty: the transformation of Work in Indian Country, 1890 to the present.
